As the name suggests, this type of wire rope sock can be affixed to a cable bundle by literally lacing it around the outer surface, without having to pull it on at one end and slide it up the cable. This lace up cable sock is just one of the examples in our light to medium duty range of socks.
The lace up variety is literally sewn onto the cable using a wire thread and is used where standard types of cable socks/grips can't be fitted, perhaps over a connector for example.
These lace up wire rope cable socks have dual eyes and can be supplied in a range of sizes, lattice types, lengths and load limits.
Single weave options are for the lower sizes up to 38mm diameters, and range from 760kg to 2,722kg in term of breaking load.
The double weave examples are for the larger sizes from 38mm up to 140mm diameters and rise up to 7.1 tonnes in breaking strength. Our heavy duty range of socks provides even greater pulling power.
